I’m Michelle Mugnai, a Tokyo-based producer and production coordinator working across commercials, film, and digital media. I support international projects in Japan and step in wherever the production needs strength, from logistics and scheduling to vendor coordination, talent support, and on-set problem solving.

My background comes from both screen and live performance. I’m the Executive Producer of Sheepdog Theatre, where I oversee budgets, operations, and delivery across upcoming seasons. I also direct performance-led projects, including two one-hour stand-up specials with Yurié Collins, managing the work from concept through shoot and post. On the production side, I’ve worked as a line producer, fixer, and set PA across a range of shoots, and I line produced the short documentary Street Fighters (dir. Luke Huxham), which has recently been released.

I’m bilingual in English and Italian, with intermediate Japanese. I’m drawn to actor-led, story-driven work and I’m at my best in fast-moving environments where people need clear communication, steady leadership, and a producer who can keep the process on track without killing the creative energy.
